Sad state of affairs

i've broken from my tradition, and my oath, to never talk of social ills, political circuses, et al, on my blog. it's just that i saw this on the net and, i don't know, it touched something. i have seen it before but this time it was different.

bear with me.

DAMN it refused to load, anyhew mimi i shall say and i bet i shall get thooped for it, but here goes anyways, UN is so full of crap if it to help anyone it first needs to clean up its act. For those who disagree try reading "Lords of poverty" by hanckok(sp) am not saying its the gospel truth but it opens your eyes up even if its just a crack.

The cartoon is one-sided... where is the AU? Where are the Sudanese?

When someone tries to help they are criticized UNLESS the aid comes with no conditions e.g. no corruption!

Many Africans (including Kenyans) thumb their noses at the West when Zimbabwe is mentioned.
Some even support mugabe's antics while he is killing his OWN people.

Enough of this double-talk i.e. give us food & aid but don't tell us how to live our lives. The West should keep out & that is the only way Africans (Darfurians, Sudanese, Kenyans, Zimbabweans, etc) will learn!

When zuma & mbeki disparage scientific research on HIV & AIDS, then those affected will die. Well, they elected mbeki & zuma so they get what they deserved!

Finally, I am Kenyan so none of this racist nonsense from anyone! I am just tired of our habit of blaming others for our misfortunes & misdeeds.

    Darfur is a MAN-MADE disaster.

lets just say am focusing on Ban Ki Moon n every step he does. am watching him closely coz UN peeps r rotten...but pretend 2 be nice apart from former Koffi A.

Africa is in so much shit! By the yr 2050 will need 2 planets as the planet is getting full. The biological capacity is slowly diminishing hence proving 2 be disastrous as the yrs go by.

@Anon, you should be grateful you're a Kenyan, not a Sudanese or Somalian or from one of the countries ravaged by civil strife. That's the only reason you can afford to talk the way you do: as a total outsider.

    @Modoathii, that's a really powerful image.

Sad how a dog will be treated better than a fellow human being...
It's sad how the differences we have hindr us...Like you aint black or white so you get heartless inhumanity..
I think God made this world really simple, but we complicate it ourselves..
With technologies (war weapons) to destroy ourselves...
    It's rather really sad...
I wish I was created bird...

That is a sad state of affairs. I think that we as Africans need to shape up as soon as possible, we cant expect the west to pull us out of our mess every single time!

It's interesting to see just how permeant virtual memory has become in our lives. It's like everywhere I turn, I see something with a card slot or USB port . I guess it makes sense though, considering how much cheaper memory has become as of late...

Ahhh... I shouldn't be moaning and groaning. I can't get by a single day without using my R4 / R4i!

(Posted on KU2 for R4i Nintendo DS.)
